The Moab Charter School Board holds regular meetings on a monthly basis, and all meetings are open to the public in accordance with Utah’s open meeting laws. These meetings are typically scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 5:15 p.m., and are held in the Moab Charter School cafeteria, located at 358 East 300 South, Moab, UT.
Community members are warmly encouraged to attend. If you would like to confirm the meeting schedule, request to be added to the agenda for public comment, or have questions regarding the meeting, please contact the school office at (435) 259-2277 for the most up-to-date information.
4. Speakers should refrain from comment or behavior that involves:
• Disorderly speech or action; name-calling or personal attacks; profane, obscene or indecent remarks or language; and derogatory comments about individuals;
• Advertising or promoting the sale of products, services, or private businesses;
• Promoting any contest or lottery; and
• Promoting candidates for public office or upcoming ballot measures.

5. Public comment may be ended if, in the discretion of the Board Chair, comments become disruptive, repetitive or offensive.
6. Any person who engages in comment that violates the foregoing guidelines may, at the discretion of the Board Chair, be barred from further public comment before the Board. All Public Comments must comply with Athenian Academy rules for Public Comment as stated on the registration form for public comment.
The Sign-up form for speaking during the public comment period will be available 30 minutes before the start of the meeting and closes as soon as the meeting begins.

Any organization receiving taxpayer dollars through federal or state appropriations, grants, contracts, or sub-awards, is trusted to safeguard those funds and ensure they are used in compliance with the regulations and intent of the awarding party. The Public Education Hotline is maintained by the Internal Audit Department of the Utah State Board of Education and it is a venue for citizens, educators, employees, and other stakeholders to request audits or report concerns related to any of the agencies governed by or provided resources by Utah State Board of Education (USBE).
